Tree Planting

The foundation in its fight to ensure a health living environment for all,it embarked on the journey of planting 8,000,000 tress in the country with a slogan “cut a tree replace it with a young one”. This journey was started with plating the inaugural tree in Buikwe district Bukunja.This came after the study of differentiation statistics that were alarming for 2001 and 2020 indicating that the country had lost 11.8% of its tree cover translating to 917,555 hectares as this was primarily directed to agriculture expansion, urbanization and logging.So far we have planted 10,000 trees since the year 2023 and we have planted these trees with Children,youth and elderly making it an exclusivity activity for all
