Kalundu Maurice is a result oriented and highly dedicated resourceful community development and research professional mental and depression health therapist (IPT-G) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Certificate in Mental Health, Recovery and Community Inclusion, extensive knowledge and experience in institutional development for organizations and cooperatives, value chain development, stakeholder engagement, access to finance linkages, public and private sector partnership development research, data collection , establishment and management of rural village saving and loans associations groups for both youths and old people, and Livelihood initiatives, programs, advocacy Women & Youth economic empowerment programs and health programs.
Over the last 7 years, Maurice has empowered several rural communities in Uganda to attain self-reliance through holistic community development approaches while organized in community-based organizations. Maurice is an obedient, dependable and self-motivated individual and strongly believes in communities taking a leading role in generating solutions to their development challenges.
Has worked as a community officer with Heifer International and Youth Alive Uganda under EAYIP program, Team leader at solar Ray’s energy SACCO, and Mental Health Coach at Strong Minds Uganda and spent more than 7 years in Youths and children in career guidance and counselling.
