SSEG Lift Up Foundation Medicals:
Enhancing Community Healthcare
The SSEG Lift Up Foundation Medicals program was launched in May 2023, with the establishment of a medical center in Ssakabusolo cell, Nakawuka Kassanje town council. The facility was equipped with various machines, catering to different units, including:
1. Medical Laboratory
2. General Medicine
3. Maternity Care
4. Pediatrics Care
5. Radiology Services
Program Overview
– Objective: Provide affordable, quality medical care to the surrounding community population.
– Vision: Develop a center of excellence in medical care, offering specialized services to those in need.
– Current Status: Due to financial constraints, the facility has been relocated to Bugu cell, Busaballa ward, in Makindye Ssabagabo division.
Major Aims
1. Expand Medical Services: Acquire additional machines and equipment to enhance the range of medical services offered.
2. Specialized Care: Develop specialized units, such as dental care, eye care, and physiotherapy, to cater to the diverse needs of the community.
3. Community Outreach: Continue conducting medical camps and outreach programs in Ssakabusolo cell and expand to new locations, including Bugu cell.
Achievements
1. Established Medical Center: Successfully set up a medical center in Ssakabusolo cell, providing essential medical services to the community.
2. Medical Camps: Conducted medical camps, including safe male circumcision programs, in Ssakabusolo cell, promoting community health and well-being.

Future Plans
1. Relocation and Expansion: Establish a permanent medical facility in Bugu cell, expanding services to cater to the growing needs of the community.
